Giving Back to Society

Billion Development, guided by the spirit of “giving back to society,” established the “Billion Charity Fund” in 2016 to assist vulnerable communities and contribute to society. Recognizing that youth are the future pillars of society, Billion Development has donated to various educational projects in both mainland China and Hong Kong. These initiatives include sponsoring the naming rights of the Physics and Mechanical Testing and Certification Laboratory at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, participating in scholarship fundraising activities like The Chinese University of Hong Kong Golf Day, and supporting institutions like Fengcai Experimental School in Kaiping City, China demonstrating the group’s deep concern for both China and Hong Kong.

  金贊助第十五屆中大高爾夫球日

  第十五屆中大高爾夫球日於2023年2月13日假香港高爾夫球會粉嶺伊甸球場順利舉行，共有100位球手分為25隊參賽，更籌得超過港幣500萬元善款，校友參與人數與籌得款項同時創歷年新高，善款將用作推動大學及各書院的發展，並用於增潤「中大高爾夫球日獎學金」。

  開平市風釆實驗學校

  總面積達7.8萬平方米的開平市風釆實驗學校，由億京慈善基金捐贈1.1億港元興建，並於2022年9月正式使用，每年可收高達2280位學生，希望代代相傳「風釆」之基，培育對社會及國家作優良貢獻的的好孩子。校園流線形的樓宇及環境設計集藝術、先進和環保於一身，外廳式教室空氣流通日照充足，達至環保之效。

  東華三院150周年：遊．藝．享．樂．東華村

  億京慈善基金於2021年舉辦「遊．藝．享．樂．東華村」社區同樂日，為東華三院廣華醫院重建發展基金籌募經費。活動於中環大館及網上同步舉行，讓廣大市民不論線上線下均能感受「東華 村」的活力，一同見證本院創院150周年的重要里程碑，並為「東華三院廣華醫院重建發展基金」籌募經費。

  億京慈善基金物理及機械檢測和認證實驗室

  佔地約200平方米，由億京慈善基金捐款港幣300萬成立。實驗室參照國際標準ISO/IEC 17025運作，配備各種先進儀器及設施，如消音室、聲音測試器及物料測試器等，助修讀檢測和認證課程的學生掌握電子及檢測儀器的運用及操作技巧，全新的學習設每年可惠及約2800名學生。
